 This is the book review on the 1^st series  of Percy Jackson .The books name is "Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief ". This book's author is Rick Riordon. Percy is a 12 year old boy and talks about his experience in Yancy academy.  Percy was just a normal kid going to school playing, basketball ,skateboard. Until he vaporised his math teacher, Ms Dodds . That's when things really started going wrong. Now Percy spends his time battling with monsters, with swords and his friends and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus , the god of sky, thinks that Percy has stolen the lightning bolt - and making Zeus a very angry is bad idea.

 The  main characters of the book are Percy Jackson , Sally Jackson , Annabeth Chase , Grover Underwood , Gabe Ugliano. Let me introduce all characters. Percy Jackson : the hero of the book . Sally Jackson : Percy Jackson's mom ( The best person for Percy in the world), Annabeth Chase : Percy's friend and sometimes Percy's competitor,Grover Underwood : Percy's only best friend in the world, Gabe Ugliano : Percy's stepdad and hates Percy's guts.

This book has 377 pages and 22 chapters .This book is a fiction book .The genre of the book is thriller , suspense and adventures. The novel is based on the Greek mythology. The book is interesting in reading and amazing to feel.
